the Norwegian Wood Distillation Part 1

In one way, the final refined collection was a little by chance.

Although I knew both what I was looking at & that I had found what I was looking to create the moment I saw it, had & rested my eyes on it.

The moment that particular idea turned out right.

Because yes it’s smooth & clear & clean & in the absence of a lot of colour, cold but the angularity too, the rough edges, the stubble you could say, from rough to perfected diamonds.

It all makes me smile really. The thoughts, the concepts, the stories.

So yeah, this stumbling was to my honest creative delight in fact.

There is so much more in reality to this Norwegian Wood collection really than these few, final & refined pieces that I’ve settled to define it by but still.

Not to labour all the creative refinements & graphic tinkerings but you can see here & below the originals they were created from. The original paintings were created from & by using stencils & off the subject, I am fast developing a passion for print making itself & off that subject too, paper cutting for a different purpose than stencils to spray paint or paint at all with but anyway.
